Bootcamp & SWAP Bundles

Meeting specific industry needs. Helping learners build confidence, core skills, and career pathways in green sectors.

In partnership with NAPIT Training

Quantum Training, in partnership with NOCN Group, has developed tailored Skills Bootcamps and SWAPs (Sector-Based Work Academy Programmes) to support individuals in launching meaningful careers across construction, green energy, and education and importantly bringing industry into the classroom. These bundles are ideal for learners seeking to take their first steps into retrofit, sustainability, or educational support roles.

Quantum has played a key role in designing and facilitating the development of these solutions, in collaboration with NOCN Group, to address industry needs. Our primary focus is on retrofit and low carbon technologies, ensuring that these training pathways meet the evolving demands of the sector.

We work closely with Further Education colleges and employers to equip learners with the right mix of practical knowledge, recognised qualifications, and job-focused experience. Additionally, we place a strong emphasis on bringing learning into the classroom, further extending and reinforcing the skill sets of tomorrow’s workforce and preparing them for the challenges of a sustainable future.

Target Market

Supports a circular economy by ensuring all stakeholders benefit – from young people (SWAPS) entering the sector to experienced professionals (Bootcamps).

Recognises that while some roles may have physical limits, there is still a need to keep skilled workers active and engaged.

Encourages experienced professionals to transition from site-based roles into teaching, even if they haven’t followed academic routes before.

Highlights education as a valuable second career pathway for those with industry experience.

Helps transfer knowledge from older generations to new entrants, keeping vital skills alive in the sector.

Promotes a continuous exchange of learning and experience, supporting personal development and long-term industry growth.

SWAPs are a partnership between Jobcentres, employers and training providers, who together agree the content of sector-specific training needed to fill job vacancies.

SWAPs are instigated by Jobcentres after an approach has been made by an employer looking to fill job vacancies. Training providers with good links to businesses can approach Jobcentres to discuss running SWAPs.

Pathways to help young people (16 to 24) ‘not in employment, education or training’, or at risk of NEET, find their first job or put them on a career path.

Working Futures for adults who are disadvantaged in the labour market, and who need personal support to find work or better work.
