In partnership with NAPIT Training
To further support learners, we actively promote the free NAPIT Foundation membership for students and apprentices. It's a fantastic resource for staying up to date with industry changes, accessing technical guidance, CPD, and making use of valuable tools like NAPIT FastTest and the Technical Helpline.
We believe in helping learners feel confident and supported as they enter the electrical industry, and initiatives like NAPIT Foundation play a key role in making that happen.
We currently offer four key demonstration rigs from the range NAPIT offer, ideal for technical training, assessments, and CPD delivery:

1. EV Charging Rig
A mobile unit that supports practical learning around Electric Vehicle (EV) charger installation and safety procedures. It includes:
A rotary isolator and circuit breaker
A galvanised connection box for testing
Simulates the ability for EVs to back-feed into the grid, preparing learners for future-ready installations

2. Solar Photovoltaic (SPV) Rig
(For older audiences)
A free-standing rig that demonstrates how a solar PV system works to adult audiences. It includes:
A full AC/DC setup with supply meter, isolators, and inverter
Two solar PV modules (detachable for transport)
Dual-side wiring for both building supply and solar generation simulation

3. Combined SPV + EESS Rig
This rig combines solar PV with energy storage, giving learners hands-on experience with hybrid systems. It includes:
Solar panel, inverter, and hybrid battery unit
Two distribution boards simulating a house system and essential circuits
Supports real-world learning around solar-plus-storage installations

4. Inspection & Testing Rig
This dual-sided unit is ideal for electrical inspection and testing practice. It includes:
Single and three-phase distribution boards
Ring final circuits, lighting systems, contactor starter
Fault-finding components for completing EICRs, EICs, and Minor Works Certificates
These units by NAPIT are a valuable addition to any electrical or green skills training curriculum. Each rig is designed for transport, ease of use, and clarity in teaching — ideal for classroom learning, careers fairs, or dedicated practical training sessions.
