Who is this course for?

Experienced plumbing and heating engineers who wish to learn about installation and maintenance of the Daikin Altherma 3 Monobloc heat pump.

Course content

This one-day course comprises four sessions.

Participants will cover:

• Monobloc concept, product layout, basic options, hardware installation.
• System Hydraulics, Pipework, Automatic bypass valve, Defrost water volume, Flow rates, Hydraulic separation, Esbie valve and Siemens valve
• Common Installation-Wiring, Outdoor unit, control box, connection of 3rd party controls, Back up heater wiring, Domestic hot water cylinder
• Water Quality, Anti freeze valves, Glycol, Pre start up checks

This course will include short quiz questions at the end of each session and a final course assessment bank of questions at the end of session four.

Successful candidates will receive a certificate of successful completion and will be eligible to attend the Daikin Altherma LT Monobloc Standard Installation Level 2 course.

Course Requirements

If you are not already registered with Daikin, you must do so and complete the Daikin pre-course training.

Complete Daikin Pre Course Training

There are five modules, which should take approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes in total. These are:

• Introduction to Daikin module (40 minutes)
• Daikin Altherma Product Range module (30 minutes)
• Requirements and Regulations module (30 minutes)
• Design and Installation module (30 minutes)
• Final Assessment (30 minutes).

When all modules have been completed, please contact Quantum Group (training@thequantumgroup.uk.com) so authorisation can be received from Daikin for you to attend the course.
