When a consumer uses a TrustMark Registered Business, they know they are engaging with an organisation that has been thoroughly vetted to meet required standards and has made a considerable commitment to good customer service, technical competence and trading practices. TrustMark was established in 2005 in conjunction with Government, industry bodies and consumer protection groups. Since this time, in response to the industry led, Government-commissioned Each Home Counts (EHC) review, the TrustMark remit has expanded to include all Repair, Maintenance and Improvement (RMI) and, Energy Efficiency and Retrofit measures, providing a level playing field of quality for consumers having work carried out in or around their home. Our goal is to achieve a position where consumers can engage firms in complete confidence that work will be of a high quality, protected and at the agreed costs. We work with the all industries in and around the home, helping to reduce consumer detriment, build consumer confidence and increase opportunities for quality firms.
Quantum Group is an accredited FGAS installer. Our engineers carrying out installation, are fully qualified to handle refrigerants. F-Gas regulations have been implemented in order to contain, prevent and thereby reduce emissions of f-gas fluorinated greenhouse gases. On 2nd April 2008, the Commission Regulation 303/2008 set out the requirements for an F-Gas company certification scheme. This F-Gas scheme is specifically for businesses working with F-Gas refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump equipment containing or designed to contain fluorinated greenhouse gases.
Quantum Group is Green Home Deal approved. We will install with the new Green Homes Grant that is due to come into effect for a seven-month period lasting from September 2020 to the end of March 2021. Residents will be able to claim two-thirds of the cost of energy efficient home improvements up to the value of £5,000 in the form of vouchers (with those on low income who are owner occupiers and in receipt of income-based or disability benefits, getting 100% subsidy up to a maximum government contribution of £10,000). This grant includes the installation of domestic air source heat pumps as well as other energy-saving technologies. To kickstart a revolution in greener living, the Green Homes Grant will help up to 600,000 British homeowners and landlords create more energy-efficient home. There are two sets of vouchers available: the general scheme is worth up to £5,000 or two-thirds of the cost of eligible energy-efficiency measures, with a low-income scheme for households on a reduced income or certain benefits which offers renovations worth up to £10,000. Quantum Group is RECC approved. The aim of the Renewable Energy Consumer Code is to ensure that consumers wishing to install a small-scale heat or power generation unit for their homes have the necessary confidence and service standards so that they can make an informed choice. RECC sets out high consumer protection standards for businesses who are selling or leasing renewable energy generation systems to domestic consumers. RECC is approved by Chartered Trading Standards Institute as part of the Consumer Codes Approval Scheme and is also a TrustMark Scheme Operator.

With a membership of over 2200 individuals, this reflects the diversity of the refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump sector. As members of the institute of refrigeration, our engineers are kept fully up to date with legislation and training available within the industry. The institution provides a forum for all those involved professionally in refrigeration, air conditioning, heat pump science and engineering, that promote the technical advancements in these areas in relation to both the perfection of its methods and the minimisation of its effects on the environment. The institute provides essential resource from people all over the world to improve the application of refrigeration with particular emphasis on environment, efficiency, safety and innovation.
